Let us do the hard work. With the FibreGrid cut to size service, we make it easy for you to simply install our products yourself.
When you place your order, let our team of anti slip experts know that you intend to install the product yourself, and they will tailor the order to meet your specific needs. We offer our cut-to-size service on a huge range of our GRP products, including our stair tread covers, nosings, flat sheets, decking strips and grp grating.
Pricing
SlipGrip Stair Tread Covers and Landing Covers – No charge for cutting the width and depth, so for example if you ordered a Stair tread cover 1000mm x 345mm but wanted that cut to 900mm x 300mm there would be no additional charge. The free cutting only applies to one cut per width and depth per ordered length. SlipGrip Flat Sheets and Riser Plates – No charge for cutting the width and length, so for example if you ordered a Flat Sheet that was 2400mm x 1200mm but wanted that cut to 1700mm x 1000mm there would be no additional charge. We do not recommend cutting the flat sheets under 300mm. The free cutting only applies to one cut per width and depth per sheet ordered. Grating – No charge for cutting the width and length, so for example if you ordered a Grating panel 1985mm x 996mm but wanted that cut to 1700mm x 900mm there would be no additional charge. We make a cutting charge for any cuts under 300mm. So if you ordered a 1985mm x 996mm panel but wanted it cut to 1985mm x 295mm, there would be a charge of £2.75 per metre cut. EdgeGrip Nosings – No charge for cutting the width/length, so for example if you ordered a 3000mm length but wanted it at 2700mm there would be no charge. The free cutting only applies to one cut per ordered length. DeckGrip Strips – No charge for cutting the length, so for example if you ordered a 2400mm length but wanted it at 2300mm there would be no charge (please remember, decking strips are pre-drilled so any cuts down from the standard size may affect the hole configuration). This product is designed to be sold in set lengths but if you require the decking strips cut into multiple lengths the free cutting only applies to one cut per ordered length. Line Marking – No charge for cutting the length, so for example if you ordered a 3000mm length but wanted it at 2700mm there would be no charge. FibreRail – Any cutting of tube - £3.25 per cut (includes re-drilling of one hole if required per cut). Any cuts involving shapes and angles will also attract an additional charge based on the complexity etc. Please provide further information for us to be able to offer a bespoke quotation.
Pre-drilling Any products with a nosing that require pre-drilled holes are charged at £0.50 per hole and anything without a nosing is charged at £0.30 per hole. So on a stair tread cover (which has a nosing) 4 predrilled holes in a 1000mm length would be an additional £2.00. The prices for pre-drilling are based on a 6mm drill bit. The configuration will be as per our standard unless otherwise advised by you. Packaging, labelling & despatch All orders will be packaged as per FibreGrid’s standard packaging method and in a way to be most economical on packaging materials and to achieve lowest transport costs. Any special packing requirements different to our normal may attract an additional charge. Any special requests for labelling may also attract an additional charge. For example, if you ordered 100 EdgeGrip Nosings and required each piece to be individually marked/labelled.
