Robust and Hard Wearing GRP Safety Solution for Luxury Car Dealership

A luxury car dealership has relocated to a new hi-tech sales and servicing facility which is the largest of its kind in the UK, located just one mile from the Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield.

Boasting over 200,000 sq ft of indoor space, the vast 3-storey dealership is the new home of both BMW and Mini.

FibreGrid's client identified the requirement to move large volumes of water used in the cleaning of customer vehicles. The  area has sump and drain details for the wash-down area which required a surface finish that would allow debris/dirt and water to be removed safely whilst providing a non-slip area for operatives to carry out the cleaning of the vehicles in a safe manner.

FibreGrid were asked by their client to propose a grating solution that is non-slip, non-corrosive, would not be effected by vehicular penetration or by high volumes of water.
