SlipGrip Sprint Flexible Flat Sheet Flooring

SlipGrip Sprint Flexible Flat Sheet Flooring

(EXCL. VAT) £13.80 From (INCL. VAT) £16.56

SlipGrip Sprint has the same dimensions and specification as its big brother, regular SlipGrip Heavy Duty Flat Sheet, but is only 1mm thick, rather than 4mm. This means it is ideal for low trafficked areas or where less flexible sheets aren’t suitable, such as undulating walkways and ramps or surfaces that are not perfectly flat.

Product Details

SlipGrip Flat Sheet has been a consistently good seller for us over the years. However, it is best suited to a flat surfaces that don’t move. So, we came up with SlipGrip Sprint for customers who wanted more flexibility and whose surfaces experienced lighter traffic.

At only 1mm thick, SlipGrip Sprint offers total manoeuvrability, but it is still strong, so won’t crack. The secret is in the resins we use, which are themselves flexible. This allows the product to be affixed to an undulating surface.

Another benefit is that as these sheets are small (up to 2400mm wide by 1200mm long), if one does get accidentally damaged, it is easy to whip off and replace with another.

You can have SlipGrip Sprint in black, white or yellow.

Specifications + Technical Data Sheets

SlipGrip Sprint is available in standard stock sheet sizes 2400mm x 1200mm and off the shelf as 600mm sheets. The larger sheets allow for simple fast installation of large areas.

The 600mm sheets allow for easy replacement of damaged areas, without the need to purchase full sized sheets.

How To Apply

Ensure that the areas to have Flexi-Lite fitted are clean, dry and free from loose and friable material. Any “dished” or damaged surface areas should be patch repaired to provide a reasonably flat and consistent surface.

Dry fit all Flexi-Lite panels to ensure they fit freely and that they sit flat down on the surface. If required, FlexiLite can be trimmed on site to suit, ideally using a skill saw with a 4mm diamond blade or an angle grinder with a 1mm blade.

Please ensure that goggles and gloves are worn at all times when any form of cutting is involved.

We recommend a single fixing method for installing the FlexiLite product. This consists of an appropriate structural adhesive. (Tremflex, supplied by us or similar).

Apply an approx. 6mm bead (this may need to be increased dependant on the substrate conditions) of the high strength gap filling adhesive around the periphery of the underside of the Flexi-Lite panels approx. 25mm in from the edges. Then, starting from the bottom left corner come up at an angle (approx. 200mm across) and then down at an angle, to create a ‘peak and a trough’, repeat this until you reach the end. Immediately press the panel firmly to the substrate to ensure adequate transfer of adhesive (depending on the size of the bead, this will elevate the sheet by approximately 1-1.5mm). A firm bond will be achieved in about one hour under normal circumstances and conditions.
