All FibreGrid anti slip products have been tested using the pendulum test method which is covered under the British Standard BS4592-0:2006.
The Skid
Resistance Tester operates thanks to a pendulum with a
rubber slider, which bounces from a fixed height and
sharpens with an edge over a fixed length of the road
surface. The energy converted by the sliding procedure is
determined on the basis of the climbing height of the
pendulum and results in a measure for the pavement grip of
the examined surface.

"FibreGrid's products achieved
some of the highest slip resistant levels i have measured.
All the products tested recorded values of 65 or above for
dry conditions. Even when wet conditions were introduced
the products still performed to a very high standard."
