Fibreglass Grating used for Monte Carlo Rally

FibreGrid have just
supplied their fibreglass grit top grating for use
in the WRC Monte Carlo Rally.
The grating was used in
the re-fuelling area to catch any spillages during
the frequent fuel tank filling. Pictured right is Petter Solberg's Subaru awaiting re-fuelling.

fact that the grating has a slip resistant top
surface, chemically resistant and has the open mesh
design meant that it was the ideal safety solution
for the re-fuelling area" said FibreGrid's Scott
Cousin.
"If any spillages occurred they simply fell through
the mesh and into the spill tray below." |
