General Information

Standard FibreGrid structural pultruded profile shapes include equal angle, I beam, Wide flange beam, square tube, round tube, kick plate etc.

These structural shapes are used in a wide range of applications, offering a unique combination of chemical resistance, size stability, high strength, thermal and electric non–conductivity. Each shape is available in a number of dimensions to suit for a variety of design and application requirements. For special uses, custom shapes are also available.

Benefits
Structural Shapes
All of the pultruded profiles are a structural composite and capable of dealing with certain load requirements.

Light weight
Pultruded Profiles are significantly lighter than steel profiles (approx. ¼ the weight of similar steel profiles). This reduces the need for heavy lifting equipment during construction.

Fire Retardant
Pultruded Profiles are made using fire retardant resins, these resins have been tested in accordance with BS 476: Part 7 and met the performance requirements of Class1.

Corrosion Resistant
Pultruded Profiles are resistant to a wide range of chemicals and is perfectly suited for use even in the harshest of environments.
