EdgeGrip has been developed as a cost effective, long term solution
to help with the requirements as laid down by the Disability
Discrimination Act Part III and in particular, the sections relevant
to the partially sighted.The Act, in essence, requires that
all stairs, accessed by members of the public, should have a
contrasting coloured nosing fitted to all step edges and in addition
such stair nosings should provide a slip resistant surface.
The Act, which covers stair
nosings is now fully enforceable. EdgeGrip is the quick and easy solution to
help to comply with the act. All stair nosings have a hard wearing
grit top surface for extreme slip resistance.
