FibreGrid Limited has supplied its fibreglass SlipGrip Stair Treads and Landing Covers to outsourced logistics service company Wincanton. The non slip treads were fitted to both internal and external staircases around their Milton Keynes branch.
The ‘SlipGrip’ product, which gives a full covering of the whole stair and landing area were fitted over the existing metal checker-plate stairs, which were potentially dangerous in wet conditions. The treads were secured in place and simply screwed through the existing substrate.
SlipGrips’s fibreglass construction and silicone carbon grit top surface means that it is exceptionally hard wearing and gives great traction underfoot. It also has a contrasting coloured yellow nosing to help with compliance of the new DDA legislation. |
