FibreGrid has successfully completed the installation of SlipGrip Stair Tread and Landing Covers and TactileGrip
at Rugby Railway Station through Balfour Beatty on behalf of Network Rail.
The FibreGrid products were virtually the last items to be installed at the station at the end of the modernisation and remodeling works.
The project also incorporated SlipGrip Riser Plates, which completed the look of the staircase.
Balfour Beatty's Project Manager, Sean Dunne commented "Following our recent successful completion of the Platform 5 and 6 construction works and handover to our client, Network Rail, I would like to compliment FibreGrid's efforts and contribution to this achievement.
The works were undertaken to a very demanding and challenging schedule with many restraints specific to working in the railway environment and notwithstanding this your team delivered on programme." |
