The steps at the recently built Student Campus at Birmingham University have had a safety makeover!
All 1200 of the new concrete steps were fitted with SlipGrip Stair Tread Covers with our standard white 55mm contrasting coloured nosing.
The project was quite a large and complicated one and required the FibreGrid installation team to work closely with other trades to ensure a continuous run on all stairs so that the tight deadline was met.
FibreGrid produced a method statement, which was followed to the letter and ensured that the staircases were handed back to the Contractor within the agreed time frame. |
