FibreGrid were recently called in to fit their SlipGrip Stair Tread Covers and TactileGrip tiles for several staircases leading up to a new office block complex in Truro, Cornwall.
The galvanised steel staircases, which were erected only one week previously were fitted with SlipGrip Stair Tread Covers on all stairs and all landings leading to the main entrance.
In addition TactileGrip, corduroy tiles were installed at the top and bottom of all staircases to help with the requirement of the Disability Discrimination Act.
Approximately 100 SlipGrip Stair Tread Covers were installed and forty square metres of landings incorporating the use of the SlipGrip Flat Sheet product because of the size of these areas.
The whole installation was completed in just four days and as per the standard installation method the staircase immediately put back into service. |
